It is always great to see companies holding annual events. It shows the health of the company, but also, how much they still enjoy this industry. If you have never thrown or been part of a big event, then you may not realize exactly how much goes into putting an event on.
“We just can’t express how excited we are to have our 7th annual event at our new facility, which is much larger, cleaner and has more than ample parking,” said Dawn Cragon Co-owner of Twisted Innovations (TI). “Additionally, the new location is on a major road and is much easier to find. Take Interstate 90 to the Route 45/Ashtabula exit and head north 3.3 miles. Turn right (East) onto Route 20 (North Ridge West). TI Dyno is 1.4 miles east on the left (north) side,” Cragon explained.
One really great aspect about the TI Dyno events is that Kevin and Dawn Cragon give back to local charities. This year, they have decided to help out raise awareness of breast cancer. “Our spring event that we do, we have a charity for the Rainbows Children’s & Babies Hospital in Cleveland. We’ve raised several thousands of dollars with that event, and we hope to do the same with this event. We’ve all experienced some sort of breast cancer in our families and we want to help with fighting for a cure,” commented Cragon.
“Typically, we have close to 30 trucks on the rollers, and have had several trucks break 900+hp on the dyno. We usually have about 100 or so spectators and each year it looks and feels like the event gets larger and larger. This year we’ll be doing event shirts with the proceeds from the shirts going to charity as well. Everyone who dynos will get a t-shirt and we are giving back $25 of that $85 (cost to dyno) to the charity,” exclaims Cragon.
“In addition to seeing some high powered trucks, there will be a Chinese Auction. We have been gathering some really great prizes from local and national sponsors. We have items from O’Reilly Auto Parts, Rosewood Diesel, Troublemaker Diesel, Powerflow Diesel Exhaust Systems, and Ladies Of Diesel to just name a few and we are still looking for more,” continued Cragon.
