Last weekend, the NHRDA made a stop at the Big Sky Truck-Fest, at the historic Yellowstone Drag strip, in Acton, Montana. A sea of trucks were lined up all day to get their chance to run down the 1,320 feet of fun, but one thing stood out in the staging lanes.
The concentration by the team of Jared Delekta was something different this day. Little did we know, they were about to raise some eyebrows and push their Cummins powered Chevrolet into the record books.
Team members of Industrial Injection got Jared set up in the staging beams for the next pass. What Jared didn't know, was that this one would be memorable.
The Super Street class has been something should be watched at each event this year. The class MPH and ET record have been tossed around throughout the year and sure enough, it happened again.

Shown was his quicker, but record-breaking pass. Once the record is broken, he must then back up the record and run the same elapsed time or quicker for it to live on.
Jared Delekta, of Industrial Injection, set the new NHRDA Super Street World Record MPH and ET. He screamed down the drag strip at an elapsed time of 8.806 at 167..20 miles per hour. Jared has set the bar high, and we can’t wait to see what the World Finals bring in only a few weeks.
To say that the Super Street class has come a long way is an understatement. Especially when you take a look back a few years ago when it was Rob Coddens, in Maxx’d Out, who held the record at a 9.65 at 148.32 miles per hour. Do you think it will be broken again this year? Tell us what you think in the comments below!

Hardware, that’s what it takes to hold the Super Street Record. Jared Delekta’s Cummins is pushing some serious ponies.
