It’s April 2nd and depending on what area of the country you’re from, racing season is here. Some of you have made upgrades for this year to either be faster or be safer. Regardless, if you’ve installed a roll cage in your car or truck over this past winter, you’re going to have to get it certified by an NHRA official.

Luckily for us, Wagler Motorsports Park is having a day of certifications and testing to kick 2018 off. Wagler Competition Products now has their own private testing facility for all their wild and custom builds going on down the road from their track.

Wagler Motorsports Park, located in Lyons, Ind., has joined Division 3, the NHRA North Central Division, as an NHRA member track.

With the growing popularity of the Outlaw 5.90 Index, it is a requirement to get your professional license and chassis certification from the NHRA. With that being said, it may a be an easier and cheaper option to go to an “open-house” style event versus paying an inspector to just do yours once.

Since Wagler Motorsports Park just recently became an NHRA track member, they decided to host this day with NHRA Division 3 Tech, Jack Richards. Richards will be at WMP, but you’re required to set up an appointment with Richards in advance. Weather permitting, WMP is expecting a great day of testing and inspections.
