Daytona International Speedway is the venue for the Rolex 24 Hours, the Daytona 500 NASCAR race, and now hosts the Daytona Truck Meet on the infield. The show claims to be the country’s largest specialist truck meeting, and judging by the constant stream of trucks we saw entering the Speedway on Saturday, it isn’t hard to justify this claim.

The show ran from Friday to Sunday and featured a Dyno competition, Burnout competitions on each day, a Bikini competition on Saturday, and prize giving on Sunday. There were a host of quality vendors displaying their products. By far the biggest stand was American Force Wheels, with over 20 SEMA-quality trucks on display. They ranged from slammed rat rod trucks to monster modern trucks, riding on wheels as big as the latest offering from American Force – their new 28-inch dually wheels.

Most of the vendors had at least one custom truck on their stand. Specialty Forged Wheels‘ stand featured “Orange Appeal,” a white and orange Ford F-250 sitting on a custom trailer. This was being towed by a complementary black and orange Ford Super Duty dually. The towing Super Duty had a complete custom orange leather interior to a similar standard as Orange Appeal. The custom work on Orange Appeal was insane. The level of presentation on this truck was ridiculous; from the tire shine upwards, this truck was just incredible.

Vendors covering everything – specialty wheels, tires, lighting – were displaying their latest and greatest products. The show offered a lot of inspiration for anyone thinking of modifying their truck, or for those already embarking on a project. New and exciting products are always being released, meaning everyone has to constantly up their game if they want to be biggest, baddest pickup on the block.
