Everyone is wanting some good news these days and the crew over at BD Diesel Performance has delivered. Their site is always full of products for trucks abroad and with a new year comes new trucks. That means new parts, right? We recently talked with BD to get the list of new products they are bringing to you this year and here is the first batch!
Dodge / RAM 2019 68RFE/ Aisin Cooler Bypass
Unfortunately, the OEM oil cooler bypass found on 68rfe and Aisin transmission fail. In many cases this is due to debris getting stuck in the bypass valve, causing it to stock in the “shut” or bypass position. This will result in the transmission fluid bypassing the air to oil cooler, and returning to the transmission, still hot! This results in elevated transmission temperatures and a reduction in transmission and oil life expectancy.
The BD Cooler Bypass Delete keeps the transmission cooler operational at all times and eliminates this failure-prone bypass valve. Typical results have shown a 40° temperature reduction! This unit is not recommended in Northern cold climates, as it reduces the transmissions ability to get up to operation temperatures. It fits 2013-2019 68rfe transmissions.

Dodge / RAM 2007.5-2018 Replacement Turbo Actuators
Although this actuator isn’t technically a new BD product, it’s a new part number from them and that is worth mentioning because of the price. They won’t say how, but they have secured special pricing on this turbo actuator making it perhaps the lowest cost genuine Holset replacement actuator available on the market.
This is the newer style actuator used on the 2013 and later Ram 6.7-Liter Cummins trucks with the HE300VG turbos. It’s got all of the updates over the old style, but it can also be used on the 2008-2012 HE351VE turbos with the wiring adapter that BD supplies.
BD tells us through their turbo reman program they find that actuator failures are the overwhelming cause of turbo failure, noting they often get back core turbos where nothing is even wrong with the turbo except for the actuator. They also say the most common customer complaint when an actuator begins to fail is that the exhaust brake stop working.
Installing this isn’t something you can do at home, but a well-equipped shop with a Chrysler or Cummins scan tool should be able to handle the job (it needs to be calibrated when installed). Fixes fault codes: P2262, P003A, P00AF and U010C (late models only)
You’re pretty excited; you have this nice new Ford truck, a newly installed leveling kit, big tires and fancy set of wheels only to find that it steers and tracks terribly down the road. Leveling kits and some lift kits have the unfortunate characteristics of offsetting the front axle which can result in vehicle road tracking issues.
The BD trackbar is adjustable and will correct axle alignment on leveled/lifted trucks to ensure you’re driving straight with less wander and a more confident steering feel. They are offered in a black Cerakote finish (the same special coating used on your favorite firearm), uses a serviceable polyurethane bushing and a high-quality ball joint. They fit 2017-2020 F-250/350 4WD vehicles.
Ford 2004.5-2007 6.0L UpPipes w/EGR connector
If you, or someone you know, owns a 6.0-liter Powerstroke Ford, you understand what we’re saying when we mention leaky up-pipes. These up-pipes (exhaust manifold to turbo) are prone to leakage due to inevitable deterioration and corrosion.
Luckily for Ford owners, BD Diesel has manufactured a set of pipes that will not only last, but minimize restriction to the turbo. BD uses internally shielded expansion bellows that minimize the flow disturbances and stresses. With an integrated EGR connection, these units are emissions legal for use in EPA & CARB controlled states.
The turbo Y-adapter is made from a high-silicon ductile iron which will last much longer than your factory unit! This whole package will offer a more durable, long-lasting replacement for this common Power Stroke problem. It’s a perfect upgrade for those needing insurance and wanting performance!

Ford 2011-2019 6R140 Flex Plate
The 6.7-Liter Power Stroke engine makes an unprecedented amount of power from the factory, and with upgrades can decimate all! Don’t let the factory stamped sheep metal flexplate be the week link in your drivetrain! Often overlooked, the flexplate is the important mechanical connection between your Powerstroke and its transmission.
To keep up with the amount of torque your stock or modified Powerstroke can create, BD Diesel Performance has designed a 1.5x thicker billet flexplate. With its incorporated counterweight, the flexplate is CNC machined from a billet of high strength quench and tempered steel and finished with a black oxide coating. Together with it’s hardened ring gear and anti-stress washer, it’s sure to provide years of service.

Ford 2020 EPAS-Positive Air Shut Off
BD is undoubtedly the go-to for air shutoff devices for light-duty diesel trucks. Since they came out with the EPAS a number of years ago, they stay on top of the latest applications. The latest one is for the updated 2020 Ford 6.7-Liter engines. For those who don’t know what an EPAS (or PAS) is, it’s a positive air shutoff device.
Trucks that go onto worksites and refineries in the oil and gas industries are usually required to have one installed. Diesel engines control engine speed not by throttle opening (like a gasoline engine) but instead by restricting fuel supply. If an outside fuel supply (like fuel vapor, natural gas, propane) were to become available the engine, it could run away.
In some cases, this could cause catastrophic damage to the truck, nearby workers, or the whole site! Some US states and Canadian provinces have already made it law to have these on any vehicle entering oil and gas worksites, in other cases, companies have made it their policy.
What makes the EPAS special compared to a regular PAS system is instead of cutting up your air intake and fitting an aftermarket shutoff valve, the BD kit uses parts that are already on your late model truck, found as parts of the EGR system. By just plugging in their kit you now have a functional safety shutdown system, that commands the intake throttle valve shut.

Dodge 1998.5-2018 Manifold Bolt Kit
There’s a reason Cummins installed spacers on their manifolds from factory. Now you can replace your worn, stripped, or rusted bolts with a new set of bolts and spacers from BD Diesel Performance. These are designed for use on 1998.5-2018 24v Cummins RAM trucks, and feature class 10.9 bolts with black oxide coated spacers. Ford 2011-2014 Retrofit GT37 Turbo Kit
Ever wish there was a replacement for those problematic gt32 single-sequential turbochargers found on early 6.7-Liter Power Stroke engines? Say no more! BD Diesel Performance has released the GT37 Retrofit Kit, allowing you to equip your truck with a better, more reliable turbocharger. The way it should have been from the factory.
BD Diesel has designed some trick new pieces into this turbo, allowing it to be a drop-in replacement in a truck originally equipped with a GT32. No other pieces need to be replaced! Word on the street is the turbo is rated up to 525hp. If you want more horsepower, you’d be a perfect candidate for the GT37 Screamer version.

Ford 2011-2014 Screamer Retro GT37 Turbo Kit
Just like it’s baby brother (the BD Retrofit GT37), the BD Retrofit GT37 Screamer is a direct drop-in replacement turbo for early 6.7-Liter Power Stroke engines originally equipped with the weak, problematic GT32. However, the screamer is capable of moving enough air for 650-horsepower. This has been made possible by utilizing modern turbocharger technology that will deliver increased airflow, without compromising low-end response.
Just like the base GT37 Retrofit Kit, the Screamer Kit does not require any additional components for install. Everything you need for drop-in is included in the kit. The Power Stroke Screamer turbo works with any “box” tuner, or custom tuning.

Ford 2015-2019 Screamer Turbo Kit
It has been long-awaited and rumored, the 2015-2019 Powerstroke BD Screamer Turbocharger has finally arrived. With this 2015-2019 stock appearing direct drop-in turbo, your late model Power Stroke can make some serious noise.
What took them so long? BD Diesel took the time to match their billet compressor wheel to a custom mixed-flow turbine wheel that vies you unrivaled spool-up without compromising on top-end flow and performance. Boost pressure can be increased to improve horsepower potential and will work with any “box’ tuner and further improvements can be achieved with custom tuning.
