SEMA 2013: Bushwacker Fender Flares - Made In The USA Means Quality

Bushwacker continues to produce its mainstream “street legal” product line with five different styles of flares for pickups.

Bushwacker fender flares can lend your pickup truck the look and style you want for any size tire, and keep it street legal. That’s really what it’s all about. And as a matter of fact, Bushwacker executive vice president Kim Ziebell said, “keep it legal,” is exactly the philosophy that guides the company.

“The law requires that a tire be covered and that’s why we have designed our line of fender flares in five different styles. We can offer the customer Street, ‘OE,‘ our Extend-A-Fender, the Pocket Style or the Cut-Out, and each of the five will give the owner a different look and cover a progressively wider tire, while still keeping it covered and street legal.”

Ziebell continued, “and there is no drilling, all of the factory hardware locations are used to attach the Bushwacker flares to the truck’s fenders.”

In addition to the extensive line of fender flares offered for pickup trucks by Bushwacker, the company has also just launched its new line of BodyGear protective products for pickups and Jeeps at the 2013 Specialty Equipment Marketing Association (SEMA) Show.

This new product line includes BodyGear bedrail and tailgate caps for pickups, BodyGear Cut-Out Flares for the ‘93 to ’98 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ, Flat Style Flares for the ’97 to ’06 Jeep Wrangler TJ and Pocket Style Flares for ’07 to ’12 Jeep Wrangler JK, and the Trail Armor Body Protection products for Jeep Wranglers (certain products fit certain models).

The Bushwacker BodyGear Cut-Out Flares do require some sheet metal removal, but the rear piece is detachable for the use of aftermarket bumpers. The BodyGear material is 100-percent UV protected Dura-Flex 2000 TPO, textured with a black finish to give it an OE-quality style so it looks like it came from the factory.

“We also make all our products right here in the U.S.,” Ziebell said. “Bushwacker is not interested in cheapening the product. We want to offer the customer the highest quality fender flare made from top quality materials.”
