It seems as if the “street truck” style race-ready trucks are becoming more and more popular. Sure, everyone likes seeing the all-out race trucks but having a serious powerplant under the hood and being able to shred on the street is at an all-time high. With that being said, it was only a matter of time before an event like this one would come up.
On May 1st, 2021, 1320Diesel is putting their own race together in Hutchinson, Kansas where all of you street-truck enthusiasts to compete. For those of you who have a more involved truck that is a little more race and a little less street, there will be a “run what you brung” class too. Both classes are a $500 buy-in and have a combined event purse of $32,000.

You will have to prove to them what you have has what it takes and be selected. If you don’t fit into the street truck race, for those of you with all fiberglass doors, front clips, you always have the “open” class but be prepared to deal with much faster cars or trucks.
