You know them for the bright red polyurethane bushings in their suspension products, and you can’t miss their booth at SEMA, either. With bright red bushings all over the booth and a couple of cool vehicles wearing their products, Energy Suspension is always hard at work developing new bushings and mounts for the latest vehicles, and trying to keep up with the ever-popular demand for new products.
This year, they showed us some interlocking engine mounts for 1963-72 Chevy CK10, CK20 pickups, and interlocking engine and transmission mounts for the 1966-72 Ford Mustang. By interlocking the mounts, it assures you that no matter what abuse you put on your vehicle with high horsepower applications, your mounts will stay in place, regardless of what happens to the polyurethane.
The kind of torque that some of these vehicles have been producing lately have all but diminished stock rubber motor mounts, but Energy Suspension designed their interlocking mounts to protect your vehicle and engine in case you put your vehicle through too much abuse. By interlocking the plates, it provides several layers of metal and polyurethane to help keep everything in place.
They also showed us their new Hyper-Flex Master Sets for 2006-11 Honda Civic Si, 2005-07 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty, 2008-14 Subaru Impreza WRX, and many more. They also now have a cab mounting set for the 1957-60 F-100 and F-250. Also new for SEMA 2013: 2008-2012 Cadillac CTS, CTS-V motor mounts.
Be sure to check out the Energy Suspension web site for these and thousands of other products, and keep an eye out for more as the demand for performance keeps the gears turning.
