One of the country’s most popular diesel drag racing series has finally announced and confirmed all of its stops for the 2023 season. For years, the Outlaw Diesel Super Series (ODSS) has been invading a lot of the same tracks around the country.  But this year, there have been some changes made. Although they are still utilizing some of the fan favorites, there are not one, but two new locations for the upcoming drag racing season.

There are six total stops for you to follow or compete in this year and you aren’t going to want to miss any of the action. The first event is still Rudy’s Spring Truck Jam, however, it isn’t in its normal location. Instead of going to Julian, North Carolina, the ODSS is on its way to the widely popular Rockingham Dragway in Rockingham, North Carolina. This track holds a ton of events throughout the year, and this event will be held on April 21 and 22.

Action you will NOT want to miss

The second stop on the tour is obviously one of the biggest and is held in conjunction with the AMSOIL Ultimate Callout Challenge (UCC). Firepunk Diesel‘s Outlaw Diesel Revenge takes place at the legendary Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis, Indiana. This three-day event brings out the best of the best where shops take on a three-day gauntlet of challenges. Working alongside the UCC, the ODSS will have its fleet of classes in attendance as well keeping the action going at all times. This event is from June 2 through June 4.

Next up is, ODSS takes things back to Kentucky. TS Performance use to hold an event at the historic Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky. After several years of not utilizing Bowling Green’s quarter-mile track, the ODSS is officially going back. No details have been released as to who the title sponsor of the event is yet, but we’ll keep you up to date on this. However, this event was always one of the biggest of the year. This event will be held on July 7 and 8.

After Kentucky will be the RLC Motorsports‘ Rocky Top Diesel Shootout in Crossville, Tennessee. “Rocky Top” is always a packed house and many extras are offered during the event. They hold a large truck show on one side, pits full of crazy-nice builds on the other side, with drag racing in the middle. On Friday night there will be a gas versus diesel shootout, and the high-speed motorcycle stunt show during the day Saturday. This is held on July 28 and 29.

After passing the halfway mark, we are headed back to Indiana where the ODSS invades Wagler Motorsports Park for the annual Scheid Diesel Extravaganza. This is a one-of-a-kind event with drag racing, dyno, and sled pulling all weekend long. The action never stops. It was once held in the town of Terre Haute, Indiana but has since moved out to a more rural area where the party never stops. This event will be held on August 25 and 26. Last, but certainly not least, the final event of the year stays in the same spot, Wagler Motorsports Park to finish out the year with the Wagler Competition Products Fall Finale. This September 29 and 30 event is when champions are crowned.
