Ford’s 6.0-liter Power Stroke is an engine many enthusiasts love to modify. Some owners often chase fuel system upgrades to unlock its potential and enhance reliability. For those looking for a clean and effective solution, CNC Fabrication out of Ohio, offers a new four-line feed kit.Doug from the DTF Motorsports YouTube channel recently got his hands on one, providing a detailed look at its features and installation on his ongoing 6.0-liter project truck.
Doug explained he first spotted the then-unreleased kit at the 2024 Ultimate Callout Challenge. He stated, “Their new four-line feed kit for the 6.0-liter Power Stroke was a beautiful kit … everything fit amazing…” This made it an appealing alternative to other kits whose aesthetics, particularly regulator mounting, he didn’t prefer.CNC Fabrication offers the kit for both stock and aftermarket O-Dawg intake manifolds. Doug cleverly ordered the O-Dawg version, intending to fit it to his current stock manifold with custom 3D-printed spacers he planned to design.
He noted a tip from CNC’s owner: this approach allows a future upgrade to an O-Dawg intake without purchasing an entirely new fuel line setup. The kit itself features a smart-looking, anodized, billet aluminum distribution block (Doug chose black) with the CNC Fab logo laser-etched on top. It includes pre-bent stainless steel lines, capped for cleanliness, that feed both the front and rear of the 6.0-liter cylinder heads.
A main high-flow feed line with a barb fitting accommodates popular aftermarket lift pumps like FASS or Airdog, which Doug plans to use with his FASS system, noting its internal regulation means no extra fuel pressure regulator is needed for his setup. The kit also supplies new high-flow banjo bolts for the rear head connections.Throughout the installation on his body-less chassis, Doug offered several insights. He stressed multiple times the importance of following CNC Fabrication’s official instructions, saying, “…make sure you guys read the included directions … this is your master guide. I’m just here for entertainment.”
His video showed the careful routing of the lines, which are conveniently marked by CNC Fab for correct placement. He demonstrated finding extra factory intake manifold bolts with integrated studs to neatly solve the minor height difference for mounting the O-Dawg kit’s distribution block bracket on his stock manifold.
Doug also walked through the importance of leaving fittings loose during initial assembly, tightening banjo bolts (to about 25-28 ft-lbs with copper washers) first, then systematically tightening all other AN fittings to prevent leaks or binding, usually “a third to a half turn” past snug. After completing the installation, Doug expressed his satisfaction, “[The CNC Fab kit] flows really well with this engine. It’s out of the way but it’s also right up front.”
For Power Stroke owners, especially those running larger injectors, aftermarket turbochargers, or aggressive tunes on their 6.0-liter, a solid fuel system is a must-have. CNC Fabrication’s four-Line Feed kit, as detailed by DTF Motorsports, offers a direct solution to ensure all eight cylinders receive consistent, ample fuel.
