Alright diesel junkies and football fanatics—strap in! There’s a new monster tearing up the truck pulling scene, and it’s got some serious NFL muscle behind it.
Meet O-Line, a Cummins-powered pulling truck built by the team at WP Developments and owned by none other than Dalton Tucker, offensive lineman for the Indianapolis Colts.
This wild build kicked off when Tucker—already a hardcore diesel enthusiast—approached Ethan from WP Developments with a dream: to own and compete with a top-tier pulling truck. As Ethan put it, Tucker “has a huge passion to follow a dream of having a pulling truck.”
Rather than starting from scratch, the team tracked down an existing pulling truck chassis in Pennsylvania. That smart move fast-tracked the project. The name O-Line? A nod to Tucker’s role on the field protecting quarterbacks and bulldozing defenders.
At the heart of this beast is a legendary 12-valve Cummins engine. And here’s where it gets really cool—the build includes a cast iron cylinder head that once belonged to none other than pulling legend Carl Atley.
“This head came off a super stock truck built by Carl Atley,” Ethan explained. “It’s super cool, because I used to watch Atley pull when I was a kid.”
O-Line made its debut at the Ultimate Callout Challenge, and let’s just say—it didn’t disappoint.
“We knocked it out of the park and went 298 feet,” Ethan said. But he admitted there was still room to improve: “It felt great, but I picked the wrong gear.”
There was also a hiccup with the adjustable pump gear, which caused the injection timing to slip during the run—definitely not ideal for max power.
Still, the team’s far from done. In fact, they’ve got big plans.
“In the next two to three weeks, you’ll see this truck with two more 107mm turbos,” Ethan revealed.
Yep, we’re talking about a triple-turbo setup, plus bigger injectors and a new injection pump to push even more power and better drivability.
For a guy like Dalton Tucker—used to holding the line on Sundays—it’s only fitting that his rig is called O-Line. And with WP Developments dialing in the setup, this truck isn’t just for show. It’s gunning to dominate.
So, what do you think? Can this NFL-built pulling truck hang with the best of them? Let us know your thoughts—because this is just the beginning.
