It is always good to hear when companies are growing and expanding instead of downsizing. Today, we got word from Turbosmart USA that they have moved 1 mile down the road. Still located in Rancho Cucamonga, California, their new facility is 5 times larger than their old facility.
This is a great sign that the Australian based company is doing well and their products continue to exceed customer’s expectations. Recently, they introduced a new boost controller for high pressure applications (up to 120 psi), internal wastegate actuator for Cummins engines and a new line of wastegates with a travel sensor for data logging. Each one of these is a pretty major addition to their product line, but coming out with all of them within months of one another is crazy.
Major new products and continued growth with existing lines, it only makes sense they would need a bigger facility. Marty Staggs, Vice President and General Manager said, “Maintaining Turbosmart’s strategic location was key. Our location gives us the ability to ship last minute orders as late as 10 pm (PST) for our customers on the east coast when needed. Few companies can offer that kind of service.”
Staggs, also, noted the addition of the 3pConnect business. 3pConnect handles logistics, sales support and marketing management for many Australian manufactures. “The new building allows us to support brands such as Penrite Oil products, Davies Craig Cooling systems products, JP Performance, Romac, DCI heat shielding products, Aftermarket Industries, and many others all from under one room. It’s all about creating the most customer-centric solution possible, while giving manufacturers the support and resources they need; I believe we really achieved that,” continued Staggs.
