We, recently, came across what could be one of the coolest Cummins powered Cadillac’s we have ever seen. It first showed up on our radar from a post on Reddit.com. Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough info for us to dive further into it. Just a really cool photo.
But then, a few days later, the owner’s son, who goes by Llent7055 posted up a bunch of cool photos and more info.
The photos posted show the progression from engine in the car to what appears to be a finished project. Initially, the 12 valve Cummins had a Holset turbocharger and supercharger running parallel. This is quite an odd setup and it appears that owner quickly realized that isn’t the best way to run boost into the engine. So, off went the supercharger and they are now running the single Holset turbocharger.
Another unique aspect of this vehicle is the radical exhaust. The exhaust originally exits the front passengers side fender, then runs down the rocker and exits just infront of the rear tire at the back of the rear door. Instead of having the exhaust protrude out, they actually took the time and molded it into the rocker panel. So, the exhaust only sticks a little, unlike the early Dodge Viper that you had to step over and hope you didn’t hit your calf on it.
The car itself is fully bagged with what appears to be a FBSS (Front, Back, Side to Side) setup.
On the inside the HUGE standout is the Bud Light tap handle on the shifter. Continuing along with the Bud Light theme, the ash is painted in Bud Light blue, and the boost gauge is in cased in a Bud Light can (mounted in the engine compartment).
Overall, a very cool Cadillac and it is made even cooler by the Cummins under the hood!
