If you have never been to a mud event you are missing out on a lot of fun. These high horsepower trucks, lifted sky high running skinny tires just rip through some of the nastiest stuff at blistering speeds. Traditionally, “mudding” is dominated by gasoline trucks, but within the last decade slowly more and more diesels have been joining the fun.
While still not the norm by any means, these diesels trucks are tearing it up and putting on a good show. One such truck is Stroked Out Diesel Services’ aptly named Stroked Out Diesel. This high horsepower 6.0 Power Stroke has a fully built engine with all the latest goodies. For fuel, they are running a set of 300cc injectors and for air they opted for a ultra-responsive 64mm VGT turbo. Behind the engine is a fully built 5R110 transmission with billet shafts. For axles, the Stroked Out Diesel truck is running 2 ½ ton axles and to keep the truck stable and the ride smooth, they are running a set of 20” CNC shocks.

Ever wonder why they run huge lifts and skinny ties? Well, check out this photo. Do you see the tires or suspension? Some of the pits that mud trucks run, can get very deep.
Doesn’t this look fun? West Georgia Mud Park (WGMP) has an event coming up. Their Trucks Gone Wild event is May 16th through the 18th. In addition to the mud pits for fun, they have drag racing, and even some good old tug a truck action. Check out their website for more details.
