Do you remember the guy who used his truck to stop a teenager that was running from the cops through parks and neighborhoods? If not, check this story out before you read on.
As soon as word got out what Bryson Rowley did with his truck, people took notice and offered a helping hand. Dozens of aftermarket companies stepped in along with local business to give this guy what he deserved!
When Rowley hit the 14 year old’s car, he figured that his insurance wouldn’t cover the repairs because it was intentional. But what he didn’t expect was that the next day, he would get a call from Carstar in West Valley, Utah. They are a collision repair facility that the owners happened to be watching the news that night. When they saw what Rowley did, they had a wrecker and a rental car at Rowley’s door the next day. They were more than happy to help out.
As the video of this incident went viral, aftermarket companies like Fusion Bumpers, SmittyBilt, Sinister Diesel, DIESELSellerz.com, Diesel Power Gear.com, MBRP, Monster Hooks, Edge Products, Sparks Motors, G2 Axle and Gear and others started sending products to help Rowley out. When all was said and done, his $7,500 accident yielded about $15,000 in repairs and upgrades.
It is extremely nice to see that stories like this can go well for the owner. No word yet on whether Rowley will be sued by the teenager or their parents. With our legal system, anything is possible and we hope that the community continues to stand by the guy, who did what was necessary to protect the children of the community!
