Warn Industries introduced a number of new products at the 2014 SEMA Show, but the three we are most excited about are its new ZEON Platinum winch line, Premium Locking Hubs for late-model (2005 and newer) Ford Super Duty trucks, and its entry into the LED lighting market with the Warn WL Series LED Spot and Flood Lights.
We spoke with Rob Hawkins at Warn for more details. “Our new ZEON Platinum winch line, which includes the 10 (10,000 pounds), 12 (12,000 pounds), and 10s (10,000 pounds with synthetic cable) offers 20-percent faster line speed than before, and IP68-rated waterproofing that allows the unit to operate even after it’s been submerged for 30 minutes.”
“The new Platinum line also features the world’s first remote controlled clutch operated by our all-new Advanced Wireless Remote. The new wireless remote can also control other accessories, such as lights.”
A new line of WARN Premium Locking Hubs for late-model, 2005 and later Ford Super Duty trucks is also available now. “Previously only available as an OE item, these easy to install and use manual locking hubs will feature chrome or black powder-coated finish on the all-metal cap and dial,” according to Hawkins.
Jumping into the LED lighting market, Warn also introduced its WL Series LED Spot and Flood Lights. Hawkins said, “Our new lights borrow styling from the Platinum Series winches and so the two look like a matching set when paired and set into one of our bumpers, and they use Refractec optics, a cutting-edge technology to get the maximum light from the latest generation Cree LEDs.”
The new WARN LED Lights come in light pods and light bars. The four-inch Light Pods are available as spot or flood beam patterns. The Light Bars come in four-inch, six-inch, 10-inch, and 20-inch lengths, as either spot or flood beam patterns.
