Super Duty Takes To The Sky With 39 Inches Of Lift / 54 Inch Tires

lifted_1

Every once and a while we come across a truck that is so tall, we just have to stop and look. Lifting trucks sky high was a big trend in the ‘80s and then went way in the ‘90s. Over the past decade and a half, lifting trucks up has come back into style, but we don’t see the same extremes we used to. Sure the average truck is lifted higher than what it was in the ‘80s but we don’t regularly see 12 to 16 inch lifts and surely not lifts that can be classified in feet.

When in Texas for the NHRDA World Finals last year, we came across Trey Ging’s 2nd gen Dodge with a 24 inch lift. That truck was massive and quite the talk of the show and shine. If James Seaborn parked his 2006 Ford Super Duty next to it, he would be head and shoulders above Ging.

This Super Duty is insane with a full 36 inches of suspension lift and if that wasn’t enough, he added a three inch body lift. The reason for the very large lift, was to clear a set of 54 inch Michelin Military tires that are mounted to 20×14 inch KMC XD Rock Star Wheels.

lifted_4If you check out the video above, you will see a quick walk around, then a ride around town. If you are wondering about the crazy second headlights coming off the front bumper, they are to make the truck street legal. Headlights can only be so high before they are not legal to be used on the road.

This truck has tons of custom work done and it is actually up for sale. The seller has a full list of modifications on the listing. It is quite substantial. Check out the ebay listing here.
