The season finale of the Edge Pulling Series took the town in Ogden, UT when Edge hosted their biggest event yet, Weekend on the Edge, September 21, 2013. During this event more than $26,000 was awarded in cash to dyno and sled pulling participants. This year’s dyno winner walked away with $2000 and the top 5 trucks will received cash payouts.  Over $23,000 was up for grabs Saturday night, as trucks invaded Ogden’s Pioneer Stadium to cap off a tremendous Edge Pulling Series season.

Over the course of the day, Edge had 3 dynos up and running.  While waiting your turn guests and participants could visit with vendors, meet with the Edge team, and enjoy a free lunch as we watch some of the biggest, baddest trucks take aim at the top prize on the dyno. 

Fans could, also, meet with some of Edge’s sponsored drivers and take photos next to these world-class rigs.  Tom Hansen, Weylin Richards, Ken Jones, Ryan Thain, Mitch Sherman, and others were on site.  The Edge sponsored trophy truck, driven by Jay Reichart, was on hand as well for photos! 

Taking first place in the dyno event was Custom Auto with a 2006 GM producing 1620HP followed by Chavis Fryer with a 2001 GM laying down 1361 HP in 2^nd and Shawn Baca with his 2006 Dodge putting down 1260HP. Click here for all of the dyno results.

As the sun set, the action heated up with some of the most impressive trucks in the region fighting for the top spot in their respective classes.  The competition has been tight this year and pullers will be handsomely rewarded for their efforts with record-setting payouts.  With more than 100 trucks participating in a variety of classes, there was something for everyone this weekend.

Supporting Our Troops!

This year Edge was honored to send $1 from every ticket sold, and all proceeds from our raffle, to the Adopt a Ghost Foundation.  They encouraging each attendee to bring a toiletry item so we can help build deployment packs and send to our troops overseas.  Attendees could also bring a letter to the stadium thanking our soldiers for their service and sacrifice.  All donations, letters, and proceeds were packaged up and sent directly to the Adopt a Ghost Foundation.
