Exploring the showroom floor at the 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, we had a chance to speak with our friends at Covercraft. Celebrating its 50th year in business, we got our hands on its newest creation, the Seat Saver.
“The big thing we have going this year is that we have seat covers for musclecar enthusiasts,” said Director of Marketing Rick Messmore. “It’s great for the guys that bring their cars to the track since they are easy on, easy off.”
Covercraft’s Seat Saver covers are built specifically to fit your vehicle, slipping on with ease to provide protection against the dirt, sun, daily driving, and adverse working conditions. Featuring heavy-duty polycotton drill weave and overlapped double-stitched seams, they create unparalleled protection without the need for tools to install or remove.
Teaming up with U.S.-based clothing company, Carhartt, Covercraft’s manufactured limited edition SeatSaver’s and car covers made with Carhartt’s durable and water-resistant fabric and designs that the company has been known for since 1889.
“The Seat Saver has been in development for some time now and are brand new to the show,” said Messmore. “In general, they protect the leather underneath from getting tarnished or soiled by liquids and greasy food.”
Covercraft has the ability to put logos onto your custom covers.
Although Covercraft introduced no new fabrics for its car covers, they can now apply images right into the material via heat transfer. “A new feature we’re implementing is the ability to place signage such as Ford official licensed product logos that can be embroidered onto our DashMats,” Messmore said.
From logos to new dash mat fabrics, Covercraft has your protection needs covered from natural elements that hit your vehicle each day.
