Anzo USA produces high quality automotive lighting including headlights, tail lights, brake lights, and high-intensity off-road light bars powered by light-emitting diodes (LEDs), just to name a few. The company’s product line covers just about every corner of the market, from American muscle and Japanese imports, to European sports cars, trucks and off-road Jeeps.
When we stopped by Anzo’s display at the 2016 SEMA Show, Bee Thao, of Anzo, was excited to show us the company’s recently expanded line of Switchback headlights and named a few of the many reasons why it’s worth the upgrade. “When the Switchback headlights are given power, the unit displays bright white LED running lights that will also flash a deep amber with a flick of the turn signal,” says Thao.

“The majority of factory headlights from auto manufacturers, like GM or Ford, use incandescent lamps for running lights and turn signals, which are just a standard halogen bulb,” explains Thao. “Anzo uses high quality LED chips, which emit a much brighter and sharper light, and with a 50,000 hour average service life, will also last much longer than halogen bulbs.”
Replacing the fragile halogen bulbs used for secondary lighting and signals with high quality LEDs is a great advantage to the truck market. “Unlike with standard halogen bulbs, LEDs are reliable and will not break due to vibration or jolts because there is no filament to damage, all of the components are built right into the LED chip,” states Thao.

All of Anzo’s application specific products are designed to be plug-and-play, connecting directly to the factory lighting harnesses. With basic hand tools and a little mechanical knowledge, you can completely change the look of your trucks front end in as little as an hour and a half. Switchback lights also make for a great alternative to the very expensive factory LED lighting option on the GMC Sierra.
Anzo USA is constantly expanding uts product line, and currently offers Switchback projector headlight options with black or chrome housings for the 2015 to 2017 GMC Sierra and Yukon (XL), 2015 and newer Chevy Colorado; the 2015 to 2017 Chevy Suburban and Tahoe; and the 2015 and up Ford F-150.
