Let’s be honest, a suspension is one of the biggest parts of a build. It controls your ride height, the quality of your ride, and it controls how safe your ride is, too. Whether you’re lifting your truck up to crazy heights, slamming your car to the ground, or just using some helper bags to tow heavier loads safer, the suspension is a big part of a vehicle. Firestone Ride-Rite is the truck industry’s leader in helper bag performance and they’re showcasing something big at the 2018 SEMA Show.
Before, it was just a set of helper bags that had air lines plumbed to a location of your choice, and you could adjust the pressure of your bags to your liking. Depending on the weight of the load you’re carrying, the bags would require a different pressure for a more comfortable and safer ride. Well, to adjust your bags, you had to release pressure from the system by hand.
Easy to wire, easy to plumb, and fully controllable via your cell phone. We can't wait to get our hands on this piece.
Although just releasing air by hand isn’t an issue, what if you have to reload your truck, and you don’t have access to a compressor to refill the bags to the pressure of your liking? Thanks to the crew at Firestone Industrial Products, you now have the option to add air to the system with your phone. That’s right, your phone.
You can purchase the kit with or without the compressor system, but either way, you can adapt the compressor system to your existing kit if you choose to. We recently installed the Firestone Ride-Rite helper bag kit on our Project Tow Boat, and now we’re looking to add this compressor to give you the full tutorial on this awesome new product.
