SEMA 2019: VP Racing Fuels UTV Products, More Than Just Race Gas

VP Racing Fuels at SEMA 2019 is showcasing more than just race juice

Not everyone at SEMA is there to talk about insane aftermarket street machines or hardcore 4×4 trucks. We found Tom Henriott of VP Racing Fuels was more than happy to discuss his brand’s latest line of UTV liquids, which word on the street has it, are the best in the market.

VP Racing Fuels has a brand-new baby, and they’ve named it UTV96. This all-new, ultra-high-performance fuel has been tailor-made for UTV enthusiasts, and we couldn’t be more intrigued. Recently made available to the public, this ethanol-free fluid is 100-percent unleaded, and has been oxygenated in order to help it make more power than pump gas.

As its name suggests, UTV96 is a 96-octane product, and Henriott tells us it has been engineered to work with pretty much any UTV engine — be it stock, modified, turbocharged, or other. It also features specialized chemicals for additional cylinder cooling — an internal issue that certain side-by-side enthusiasts worry about over all else. When asked what sort of buyer would be interested in UTV96, Henriott is quick to respond. “This fuel fills the gap between premium pump gas and all-out race juice, and weekend warriors in search of a superior aftermarket solution at an agreeable price point are the brand’s target market.”

VP Racing Fuels also has a product that isn’t combustible, but quite the opposite. Its line of coolant boosters makes for an excellent solution to UTV overheating concerns. There’s a “Cool-Down” version, for those who are looking to add a bottle of something to their existing coolant in order to help negate overheating concerns.

VP Racing also offers a “Stay Frosty” upgrade, which Henriott explains is a complete replacement product for antifreeze.  While both of these chemicals help lubricate O-rings and whatnot within a UTV’s cooling and fuel system, Henriott tells us that the “Stay Frosty” line consistently lowers temps by 15 to 30 degrees Fahrenheit on average.
