When the fifth-generation Ram 2500 and 3500 came out in 2019, LED head and taillights were an option. And while the new generation still used the cab from 2018, it did receive a few design upgrades — especially with the grille area. That means none of the previous generation aftermarket accessories will fit. If you wanted to add LED head and taillights, you were out of luck. That is, until now. AnzoUSA is out to change that with its new headlight and tail lights.

“These are full-LED headlights and taillights for the fifth-generation Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups. The headlights feature a ‘sequential design,’ which means the surrounding ring in the headlights can switch from amber to white,” says Shaun Callaway of Anzo USA. “To really make your Ram stand out, we incorporated an initiation feature that has the lights come to life. Basically, when you unlock your truck, you can have your lights programmed to be a light show.”

Shaun also told us that all AnzoUSA products are plug-and-play which means no splicing of wires to make it work. All AnzoUSA lighting products are tested using 3D testing equipment to ensure precision and accuracy during the research, development, and design of all products. And don’t worry, all AnzoUSA LED headlights and taillights are SAE and DOT compliant to FMVSS No. 108 meaning they are legal for highway use.

All products are thoroughly exposed to intense photometric testing to assure strict compliance with local, state, federal, and international standards. To comply with these safety regulations, AnzoUSA products must pass all quality inspections. Not only are physical inspections done, but other critical physical tests such as vibration tests, moisture tests, dust tests, corrosion tests, plastic optical material tests, and heat tests are also performed. We’re told that all AnzoUSA products go through strict testing for impact strength as well as fresh/salt water and dust/dirt resistance.
