A lot is happening behind the scenes at the 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals as preparations get underway for the 2025 season, and we have exclusive news and updates on what 4×4 fans can expect. For example, new vendors, awards, and more are in store for both the 38th Annual Steve Shannon 4-Wheel Jamboree Summer Nationals in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, and the 44th Annual Tire Rack 4-Wheel Jamboree Fall Nationals Driven by Yokohama, in Danville, Indiana. We also have an exclusive sneak peek at the official schedule of events for the Summer Nationals.
About The 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals
The 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals series was purchased in early 2024 by Events Inc., a company that includes several former employees from the original 4-Wheel Jamboree management team. You can read our story about the acquisition—along with the history of the Jamboree series and an overview of event features—by clicking HERE.
Events Inc. set a goal of restoring the 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals to its former glory and hit the ground running with two events: the Summer Nationals and the Fall Nationals. The response from participants and spectators was positive, as evidenced by the attendance numbers. In fact, the Summer Nationals drew 1,370 participant vehicles and 12,960 spectators, while the Fall Nationals drew 2,078 participant vehicles and 14,991 spectators.
New for 2025, the Indiana Pulling League will be swooping into the Fall Nationals with several classes of pulling.
Pulling Action Roars Into The Fall Nationals
So, what’s new with the 2025 4-Wheel Jamboree season? To begin with, truck pulling will be added to the roster of infield action at the Fall Nationals. Back in December 2024, at the PRI Show in Indianapolis, we first heard rumblings that truck pulling might be included. The addition was officially announced on social media just days ago.
We have more details from Richard Crowell, President of the Indiana Pulling League (IPL). He says fans can expect to see multiple classes of truck pulling on Saturday, September 20, including Pro Stock 4×4 Trucks, 2.6 Pro Street Diesel Trucks, and 3.0 Limited Pro Diesel Trucks.
Crowell goes on to say, “The Indiana Pulling League is delighted to partner with the 4-Wheel Jamboree Fall Nationals this year and to showcase our sport to a wider audience of 4×4 and off-road enthusiasts. The IPL and the 4-Wheel Jamboree are a perfect match.”
Infield action at both 2025 Jamborees will include monster truck racing and freestyle, two classes of tough truck racing, and six classes of mud bogging.
Mickey Thompson And Nitto Return For 2025
Also new, Events Inc. reports that Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels is returning to the Jamboree series as a Performance Marketplace vendor after an extended absence. Ben Anderson, Mickey Thompson’s Senior Product Manager, Light Truck, says, “Mickey Thompson is excited to be back at the 4-Wheel Jamborees! We’ll be showcasing our tires and wheels, checking out the awesome rigs, and connecting with enthusiasts to understand what they want to see from Mickey in the future!”
Nitto Tire is also returning to the Jamboree series for 2025. This is a big deal, as both manufacturers offer a range of off-road-capable tires that appeal to four-wheel-drive truck and SUV owners. These companies will have tires on hand for showgoers to peruse, and each will have representatives available to answer product questions.
Also of note, Performance Marketplace vendors from 2024 that are returning to at least one Jamboree during the 2025 season include Automotive Identity, National Tire & Wheel, Outlaw Diesel Performance, Purple Cranium, Rough Country, Tire Rack, Skyjacker Suspensions, and Yokohama Tire.
Andy Knapp, Chief Revenue Officer at Events Inc., attributes the increased vendor interest to positive feedback from 2024’s Jamboree-goers. He says, “The response from our participants and spectators to the 2024 Jamborees and the new ownership has been truly amazing. This positive buzz is resulting in renewed interest from manufacturers and exhibitors. We are thrilled to see the return of key players like Mickey Thompson, Yokohama, National Tire & Wheel, and Tire Rack, among several others.”
These four photos, taken during the 2024 Jamboree season, are an example what you'll find in the 4-Wheel Jamboree Show 'n' Shine area. We've found that wandering the 4-Wheel Jamboree Show 'n' Shine area is a fascinating experience, and its populated by a wide variety of 4x4s including trail-ready machines, daily drivers, vintage show rigs, and unique custom creations.
New Show ‘n’ Shine Awards
One of the key components of the 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals is the Show ‘n’ Shine awards, which recognize the work owners put into their 4x4s, whether they’re shiny or not. We’re told that there are two new award categories being added for 2025. One is for Best Military Vehicle, and the other category includes 10 new Daily Driver awards. These new categories combine with the existing ones for a total of nearly 40 categories and close to 100 awards.
New Fall Jamboree Location Update
One of the most talked-about topics for the 2025 4-Wheel Jamboree series is the relocation of the Indiana-based Fall Nationals from the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis to the Hendricks County Fairgrounds in Danville. The new location is 22 miles west of the Indiana State Fairgrounds and spans 110 acres. Events Inc. tells us that planning is moving along exceptionally well, and they believe the new location will resonate positively with spectators and participants.
Events Inc. also tells us that it is making tweaks to the look and flow of the 4-Wheel Jamboree Summer Nationals to improve the experience for participants and spectators.
Moving In The Right Direction
It appears that things are spooling up nicely for the 2025 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals season. Mike Moore, President of Events Inc., says, “The Jamborees are moving in the right direction. We are excited and thankful that our loyal participants, spectators, and exhibitors have really responded positively and gotten on board with Events Inc. as we rebuild the Jamborees. Our ultimate objective is to evolve the events for the next generation of 4×4 and off-road enthusiasts while maintaining the long legacy of the 4-Wheel Jamboree.”
The 2025 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals kick off with the Summer Nationals in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, July 11–13, followed by the Fall Nationals in Danville, Indiana, September 19–21.
