Hot Shot Secret’s Kyle Fischer has taken it upon himself and his marketing team to put themselves out there in the sled pulling and drag racing world over the last few years. Needless to say, it’s worked. It’s not just their marketing program that has gotten them noticed either. It’s also the fact that their products are simply bad to the bone. The science that goes into their products are second to none and that’s being noticed more and more as the diesel scene grows.

In fact, big racing teams have even started looking into these products and realizing they want in on this huge success which is Hot Shot’s Secret. With the unbelievable success with the Firepunk Diesel drag racing team, they credit a lot of their success to the oils and fluids they use in their builds. With that in mind, we look deeper into the brand ambassadors for Hot Shot’s Secret and discuss their success in 2018.

“We have gotten involved more with some of the drivers in the Outlaw Diesel Super Series and they have dominated,” said Fischer. “We have a record holder, points champion, or podiumed driver in every Outlaw Diesel class.” From E.T all the way to Pro Dragster, they have someone running their products dominating the strip.

The E.T class defending champion, Ken Phillips, not only relies on Hot Shot’s Secret on race day but getting the race truck to and from the events, too. “I run their Diamond Fleet Oil in my mega cab along with the transmission fluid and fuel additives,” Phillips said. “The race truck uses adrenaline racing oil, differential fluid, transmission fluid, and their fuel additives.”

Phillips went on by saying,” Hot Shot’s has been great to work with. Locally based and heavily involved in the diesel industry. Everything I own that is diesel-powered contains their products. I look forward to 2019’s challenges knowing when it comes to oils and additives, I’m covered from diff to diff.”

7.70 Index 2018 champion, Ryan Riddle, runs their 15w-40 Adrenaline engine oil, transmission fluid, and differential gear oils. “The Hot Shot’s Secret products are definitely high-quality and fit everyone from daily drivers to dedicated drag trucks,” said Riddle. “I’m looking forward to running their Adrenaline racing oil again this year and defend my 7.70 Index title.”

Rick Fox, the defending Outlaw 5.90 Index class champion runs all Hot Shot’s Secret products and credits his success and the longevity of the engine to their products. “With the help of Hot Shot’s Secret, I was able to have one of the only vehicles in the 5.90 class that ran the same engine all year long,” said Fox.

Although the truck is now sold and gone, the “Firepunk Truck” was filled with everything and everything Hot Shot’s Secret. There are many factors that play into setting a record, but having dependable oils and fluids is one. With Hot Shot’s on board, Firepunk Diesel holds the Pro Street elapsed time and MPH record of 5.002-seconds at 145.81-MPH.

With big changes and more power coming, what will the S-10 do this year?

In the rapidly growing Pro Mod class, it was a Hot Shot’s Secret ambassador setting records. Larson Miller, pilot of the “Save The Racks’ Pro Mod credits Hot Shot’s Secret for the team’s success and is happy to have them on board in years to come. “With the help of Hot Shot’s, we were able to make a record pass with way more to come.”

Pro Dragster’s defending champion Wade Moody runs all of their products including the fuel additives and engine oil. When Moody was asked what he thought about the products and how they performed on race day, he made it simple, “The stuff just works.” Obviously, something is working with him setting an Outlaw Diesel record in his glass with a pass of 4.119 at 178.05-MPH.
