Diesel owners usually hit a frustrating wall when modifying their trucks because standard monitors rarely handle aggressive fueling and air upgrades. Upgrading a classic rig often means juggling multiple screens and custom software just to keep the engine running smoothly. The new KC Turbos partnership steps in to eliminate this massive headache for the diesel community. By teaming up with Edge Products, they transformed a standard dashboard monitor into a complete tuning powerhouse.
Preloaded Calibrations Unlocked
Getting the right software used to require sending emails back and forth with a calibrator. Now the Edge Evolution arrives packed with files ready to run. The device comes fully preloaded with calibrations for stock turbos, aftermarket variable-geometry options and massive injector upgrades. This means a driver can install the monitor on a completely stock 6.0-liter truck and continue using that exact same screen as they slowly add more extreme modifications over the years.

Upgrading Existing Monitors
Many truck owners already have an Edge Insight sitting on their dashboard just for gauges. Instead of forcing customers to buy entirely new hardware, this KC Turbos partnership allows users to digitally update their current devices. Jacob White of Edge Products explained: “If they want to use the Evolution they already have, they purchase the VIN license, and now they can order the tunes, convert to the KC tuner version, get all of those tunes right in the device they already have.” This upgrade path saves drivers serious cash.
Delivering Missing Data
Beyond the preloaded files, the platform fully supports custom tunes from popular calibrators while delivering highly requested data points. Charlie Fish of KC Turbos noted: “Nothing has a monitor that you can add an EGT and a boost and an exhaust back pressure sensor and intake temperature sensor and custom tune the truck and come with preloaded tunes.” For decades, owners begged companies to read exhaust back pressure directly on the screen. The engineering team finally integrated those critical sensors to give drivers total visibility.

A Lasting Alliance
Building parts for older diesel platforms is becoming increasingly rare as companies shift their focus toward brand-new trucks. This KC Turbos partnership proves that aftermarket heavyweights are still investing serious resources into keeping classic Powerstrokes performing at their best. Combining high-level tuning with the best monitor on the market gives truck builders exactly what they need. That being said, some enthusiasts can now finally maximize their engine hardware safely without cluttering up the cabin with extra gauges.
