Weld Wheels offers a great abundance of aftermarket forged wheels and they are becoming the hot ticket in the truck show scene. The SEMA Show and Daytona Truck Meet 2017 were a hit with a huge amount of trucks with a lot of them repping Weld Wheels.
Wheels come in different sizes, colors, and designs. Weld XT offers the newest, slickest looking wheels for hundreds of applications.
We caught up with one of the show goers from the Daytona Truck Meet after seeing a set of polished Weld XT wheels. Cody Hamm, of Wilmington, Ohio, made the trip for the truck show meeting thousands more.
Cody brought a 2005 Ford F350 Lariat 4×4 with a 6.0-liter Powerstroke diesel engine. As you can see this truck has been very well taken care of as well as pampered by adding a few good looking cosmetic items.
This F-350 has a full solution kit by Red Diamond DieselD and tuned by Gearhead per Hamm. Being at a truck show, it makes sense to be there in show form. This 6.0-liter was easy on the eyes once it was repainted with factory color paint with big flake added by Mike Lewis.
Still with the factory suspension, the rear blocks were removed and held together with a set of Bilstein 5100 shocks. Keeping the axle from wrapping is a set of Flight Fabrication traction bars.
Cody’s truck features 20×12 polished Weld XT Cheyennes wrapped in Nitto 420 S tires with the added accents of spiked lug nuts. “I went with Weld wheels because their craftsmanship and their customer service is beyond great,” Hamm said.
We agree, Weld wheels look great, but were curious what Cody’s favorite part of his wheels are. “My favorite part of the wheel would be the overall look,” Hamm said. “I love the design pattern of the wheel and love how light these forged wheels compare to other forged wheels.”
Cody would like to thank Weld wheels for having such a quality product and also Jeff Hamm, his father, for putting in the work polishing and keeping the truck clean. To pick out your next set of Weld wheels, check out their website.
