Westin Automotive has announced the release of a new bumper, the Pro-Mod series. Expanding on the offerings of its already popular bumpers, the Pro-Mod carries some serious features and new design elements. Let’s take a closer look.

The “high and tight” styling of this bumper is the first thing you may notice. To keep those precious undercarriage parts safe, Westin offers their Outlaw skid plate as a direct bolt-on option. To balance the strength of the bumper with a reasonable weight, Westin chose 10-gauge steel as the base for this design. Further weight savings comes in one of the Pro-mods most unique features. The use of reinforced outriggers to secure the wings of this bumper. These create a strong lightweight design and open up the option for shipping through more conventional methods, like parcel post.

Looks can be a major factor in choosing any body component and the Pro-Mod Bumper delivers here as well. Mesh screens add aggressive styling cues and deliver additional airflow. Because the screens are removable, you also have the option to customize your bumper with a selection of Westin LED Lights. On the subject of lights, all models can also accept 30-inch LED light bars as well. Next, to maximize corrosion resistance in the harshest of environments, all models receive an E-coating base coat. Finally, each is finished with a textured black powder coating topcoat and laser-cut Westin logo to complete that custom look.
