Easter Jeep Safari week in Moab, Utah is somewhat of the “mecca” for all things Jeep and buggie. Each year the Red Rock 4-Wheelers Club welcome more than 25,000 people converge on the city of Moab to hit the trails, see the sites and attend the tradeshow attached to this event. What you don’t see very often is a Mega Cab six door hitting the trails out with the Jeeps and buggies. Well, no more can you say that thanks to Skyjacker Suspensions and the guys at Diesel Sellerz.
This year for Skyjacker’s annual trail ride, they invited out the guys from Diesel Sellerz to show what they could do with any of their vehicles. Their choice the Mega Cab 6 door of course! Clearly, when you think tight, narrow trails with rock climbing obstacles this is the vehicle you would come up with. Now, to be fair they brought along a couple of buggies as well to roll out in just in case. Their goal? Go until they can’t go anymore and truly see what the 6 door could do.
Most of the ride was truly uneventful for these guys. In fact, we even heard one of them say they fell asleep on the trail because the ride was so smooth. After all, for many of the obstacles they had their front wheels on top of the obstacles with the rear wheels still on the ground. Got to love a long wheel base.
What was the best part of the whole ride? Besides watching them tackle obstacle after obstacle, it was watching the looks on the other participants faces when they rolled up and rolled out with Skyjacker. People were shocked and didn’t know what to think. So, now you tell us. What do you think?
