Maryland Performance Diesel and Innovative Diesel Drag And Dyno

What happens when two very large names in diesel performance team up and throw an event? We don’t know yet, but we are sure it is something that will be big! Maryland Performance Diesel and Innovative Diesel Performance are hosting their first annual Drag Race and Dyno Day at the Capital Raceway Drag strip on Saturday, September 27^th, 2014.

This event is sure to be packed full of high power East Coast trucks, a few from the Midwest, as well as maybe one or two from Canada. In addition, if you have heard about it, but never seen it run, we are sure Craig Briggs will bring out Maryland Performance Diesel’s “King Kong”. This 2010 Ford F-250 is powered by a 1,485 horsepower 6.4L Power Stroke. Yep, you read that right, 1,400+ hp Power Stroke!

In addition to that, we are hoping that Innovative will have their 1,000 horsepower compound turbo 6.0l Power Stroke as well. These two trucks alone will give the Ford fans something to rally behind. In addition, these companies have other trucks and customer trucks in the 4 digit range. The dyno is sure to experience a heavy workout as 1,000 horsepower truck is a rare occurrence on a mobile dyno, let alone the number that will probably show up multiple times.

In addition, to all of the high horsepower Fords, there are sure to be a number of Dodges, Rams, Chevrolets and even GMC’s there to attack the tree on the drag strip.
