For those of you who religiously read our publication (thank you by the way), you are probably familiar with KEG Media. They are the guys who rendered our Project MCLB, and we have covered some of the cool things they have designed and built over the past couple of years.
They are one of the most heavily used companies for renderings in the automotive aftermarket. In fact, they produce around 200 renderings for SEMA Show each year. It is amazing to think that one company has this much influence over what is trending in the industry.
The other day we were perusing KEG Media’s Facebook page (checking out some of the cool renderings they are doing) and they posted one of the coolest giveaways we have seen.
“We will be taking someone’s truck and totally building it for SEMA 2015 with our partners below. Everything is covered. Parts, Labor, Design, Transport, Hotel, Detailing, Swag and more!”
This is an amazing offer and one that we had to find out more about. So, we reached out to Robbie Bryant, Owner of KEG Media to get the skinny.
Diesel Army: How did you come up with this?
Bryant: We’ve had great success in the industry with working with some of the top manufacturers. After watching our page grow on Instagram I thought it would be a great platform to give back to our fans and do some giveaways and bring more attention to our sponsors. After talking with a few of our sponsor partners I quickly saw that they would support me in anything we do. So I decided to talk to enough of them to put an entire build together. We always see people post how they’d love to get the chance to go to SEMA. Well how about with your own truck!?! This is a lot of people’s dreams and myself and all the sponsors are excited to make someone’s dream a reality.
Diesel Army: Is this offered to any type of vehicle or are you looking for a specific make/model?
Bryant: This is open to any year make and model truck, suv or Jeep. The year isn’t as much of a concern as the condition of the vehicle. Being a SEMA build it definitely needs to be in great shape. We can all build an awesome truck, but we won’t have time to do body work. Both US and Canadian residents can enter. We even have a professional transport service, Motors on the Move, on the team to pick up the winners vehicle at their house and bring it to Complete Customs for the build then deliver it to Las Vegas for SEMA.
Diesel Army: The list of participating companies is pretty extensive. Why do you think so many companies are on board with this?
Bryant: The growth of social media marketing is exploding daily. This has never been done before on this level and the companies I work with really see the marketing potential in this.
Diesel Army: Where will the vehicle be displayed?
Bryant: The winners vehicle will be displayed right in front of the South Hall on the sidewalk in what’s known as a Premium Feature Vehicle spot.
Diesel Army: Does this include travel, hotel, passes?
Bryant: The winner will receive a SEMA badge for themselves and a friend/spouse etc. Hard Rock Hotel and Casino will provide accommodations in their fun and exciting Hotel for the winner for 6 nights. We haven’t decided on air fare yet. Since the winner could be from anywhere, even right in Vegas we will have to play that by ear. I’m sure whoever wins won’t mind spending a few bucks to fly to Vegas to see their newly built truck.
Diesel Army: Do you want to say anything about KEG?
Bryant: Keg Media continues to be the Industry Leader in custom truck design and we are proud to be displaying at SEMA for our 2nd year as an exhibitor in booth #35237 in the South Hall.
