When the military finds equipment it likes, it latches on quickly and holds on for a long time – kind of like a gila monster, except less poisonous. The M35 Deuce And A Half, first produced in 1950, held on for close to five decades as the primary cargo truck for the U.S. armed forces, and continues on into today with use in foreign militaries as well. Heavy, reliable, and incredibly capable (like being able to haul twice their recommended amount), these behemoths are no joke when it comes to taking care of jobs.

So if you have a stump the size of a Mini Cooper or an annoying neighbor living in a mobile home, well, have we got the truck for you: an M275 truck tractor, which was a spinoff of the M35 by virtue of a fifth-wheel trailer mount and shorter wheelbase for better maneuverability. Powered by an inline-six LDT 465 mill making 143 horsepower and 330 pound-feet of torque, the truck could swallow just about any source of energy ranging from jet fuel to kerosene to heating oil.

Equipped with a five-speed transmission and two-speed transfer case, the driver has total control over his vehicle at all time. The seller states the engine isn’t working at the moment, but clarifies that it is “not locked up.”
