Ever since the introduction of the diesel particulate filter (DPF) diesel owners have been longing for a product to get performance gains while still maintaining all emissions standards. The folks at Bully Dog have a new product for the 2008-2010 6.4-liter Ford Power Stroke (PN 70000) that will give those owners just that.
Bully Dog’s performance DPF features a larger and better-flowing filter to help exhaust flow 17 percent better than stock through a more efficient design and proprietary coating. Bully Dog has seen measurable increases in horsepower and torque with the just the DPF, with even greater improvements with one of their tunes.
The performance DPF is made from 304 and 409 stainless steel and has a modular construction with V-band clamp allows for serviceability. We were able to get a sneak peek at the product at Bully Dog’s booth out at the SEMA show. The product looked great and we are eager to get it on a vehicle. Stay tuned for a video and more details.
