A new wave of diesel excitement is rolling in. That’s because Alliant Power is partnering with Original Equipment Manufacturer PurePOWER Technologies to offer their full line of fuel injectors for Ford and International trucks, specifically the 6.0-liter Power Stroke, 6.4-liter Power Stroke, and many Navistar applications.
Per a press release from Alliant Power, there are over 15,000,000 injectors in use across the aforementioned platforms. These platforms will soon demand tremendous aftermarket support, and AP and PPT are striving to be at the forefront of customers’ minds.
“We are excited to enter into an agreement which allows both Alliant Power and PPT to leverage each other’s strengths in an effort to increase overall market share for our two companies,” said Bob Breunig, president of Diesel Forward, Inc., Alliant Power’s parent company. “With our extensive distribution network and capabilities, combined with the opportunity to capitalize on PPT’s current portfolio of products, we will create a strong market position that drives value not only to Alliant Power and PPT, but most importantly, to our customers.”
As the older Power Strokes get on in years, owners can now rely on Alliant Power and PPT to be there whenever injector issues arise.
In a nutshell, what this announcement means is that Alliant Power will begin distributing PPT’s new and remanufactured diesel fuel injectors, effective immediately, with plans to become co-branded in the near future. Stock is in place, AP is ready to take orders, and the AP warranty and core policy will remain the same as before.
