The newest thing to hit off-roading this year was the Mahindra ROXOR. With Jeep-like styling cues and side-by-side dimensions, it was as if a UTV had met a Wrangler and had a baby. We got our first chance to see one up close at the 2018 SEMA Show, where we stopped by the outdoor ROXOR booth and spotted this unique “Camo” interpretation.

Built with hunting and outdoors exploration in mind, the Camo ROXOR featured a beautiful woodland camouflage wrap, along with seat inserts to match. The camouflage design was from none other than Realtree, the famous camo experts from Columbus, Georgia. It was their Max-5 design, which incorporated natural elements like cattails, reeds, and grasses to help hunters blend in against ducks and geese.

Other distinguishing touches to the build were a 40-inch KC HiLiTES light bar for nighttime driving, as well as Kolpin XL Rhino Grips that work as a gun rack for holding a rifle or shotgun in the back. The ROXOR also had a heavy-duty bumper in front and a WARN 8,500-pound winch.

The engines found in these ROXORs are naturally on the smaller side. They’re 2.5-liter inline-four turbodiesel motors making 63 horsepower and 144 lb-ft of torque, on a platform that weighs just over 3,000 pounds. That might seem heavy, but something to keep in mind is the ROXOR’s solid front and rear axle drivetrain, making them great for rockcrawling. Plus, you get a five-speed transmission as standard.
