With even bigger things coming in 2019, FASS Diesel Fuel Systems was at the PRI Show in Indianapolis displaying their newest lift pump added to the fleet, the Signature Series Titanium lift pump. FASS is always one of the companies coming out with the newest and best technology and putting it all out there during tradeshow season and this year was no different.

We caught up with Jeremy Murders, a sales representative with FASS, to get his thoughts on this year’s lift pump displays. “Over the last few months, since the Signature Series came out, we have seen a huge success with these pumps. We knew these pumps would be great, but the feedback we have collected has been amazing,” said Murders. “We actually made the decision to spread the Signature Series technology to all of our product lines to ensure everyone gets the best quality products.”

As you can see, the signature series lift pump and filter were set up on the display showcasing the external changes too. Seeing the lift pump work in person offers an easy explanation of how this pump works and why you need it. Features included a pump pumping fuel through the lines with zero aeration. “Aeration is not a good lubricant. When you have aeration, it decreases the lubricity in your fuel and basically contaminates your system,” said Murders. “With a FASS, you’re bettering your performance, sustaining lubricity, and extending the life of your truck’s fuel system.”

What about high-horsepower trucks? Are FASS pumps important in that arena as well? “In high-horsepower applications, the FASS pumps are almost even more important,” said Murders. “The big power guys spend a lot of money on performance injectors and injection pumps and they want to make sure they live a long healthy life.”
