When you’re pushing a bunch of horsepower, it is critical that you have the fuel system to back it up. On Project DeadSpool, we’re running not one but two CP3 high-pressure pumps. With the large injectors we run, it was necessary to have two pumps versus one to keep up with the desired pressure. When you have twin pumps, you need to plumb two separate lines from your fuel source. With Fleece Performance‘s Fuel Distribution Block and Hose kit, we can now plumb to our twin pumps and really clean up our engine bay.
Before you install a fuel distribution block, there is steel plumbing in the engine bay that really get nasty over time. With a completely fresh engine, with an all-new paint job, we couldn’t leave it as is. With the Fleece fuel block and line kit, we would discard those steel lines and replace them with the provided hoses and AN fittings.
On these fuel blocks, they cover all needed plumbing. Your feed line from the fuel source, two feeds for both injection pumps, and the return lines for back to the tank. It comes complete with all of the high quality AN fittings and push lock hose needed to cleanly plumb your dual CP3s with their Fuel Distribution Block.
The block is simple to install as it goes in place of your factory fuel filter bowl. By removing the factory bowl, your two mounting holes are exposed and reused to fasten the block to the engine. Once the block is tight, you’re ready to plumb your hoses. The hose kit comes with a healthy length of hose that gives you the option to cut the hoses at the lengths you want.
With the block installed on our engine, we are pleased with how well it cleaned up the driver side of the engine. With all of the steel lines removed from that area, it really makes this engine stand out from the rest. Don’t waste your time with a Y-block.
