Tires will make or break a rig during off-roading, and when it comes to mud and loose dirt, Dick Cepek‘s new Extreme Country tires more than fit the bill. These new mud-terrain units are available in 18 sizes, with three more on the way before 2015 closes out. See more details below.
The new Extreme Country mud-terrain tire from Dick Cepek is one the newest additions to the tire line and is now available in 18 popular 15- to 20-inch sizes for trucks, Jeeps and 4x4s. This purpose-driven tire has been thoughtfully designed for sportsmen and off-road enthusiasts with a proven tread compound for excellent traction, responsive handling, even wear, longer life and a smoother, quieter ride.
“We are proud to bring the new Extreme Country to mud and off-road enthusiasts,” stated Ken Warner, Vice President of Marketing for Dick Cepek. “This tire has been designed to perform. Every design aspect, including the sidewall design, makes this the best mud tire from Dick Cepek yet.”
The Extreme Country’s tread features special chamfers and notched inner and outer lugs for stability and responsive grip on irregular surfaces. The heavy-duty carcass is reinforced with two-ply high-tensile body cord for sidewall strength without increased weight or rolling resistance. Wide outer tread voids and self-cleaning angled shoulder scallops provide better traction in mud and loose soil, and specially-designed stone ejector tread grooves prevent stone retention.
Three additional sizes of the Extreme Country will be introduced later this year for a total of 21 sizes.
